Frank has been an incredible asset to our school community as he has evolved into an intellectual and well-developed teacher who responds to students’ needs through the use of data analysis, differentiated instruction and an ambitious personality. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend him for a full time teaching position in your school.
I am proud to say that I have been witness to the development of an exceptional teacher and person in Frank who has maximized his time here by exceeding the expectations of your typical student teacher. In conjunction with providing high quality lesson plans, he has collaborated with staff members to analyze student data in order to respond to students’ strengths and weaknesses. Frank has assessed data trends and utilized proficiency in benchmarks to guide his instruction. His lessons have been centralized around Common Core Standards so that students in his classes are practicing skills in preparation for college readiness. Each lesson is carefully scaffolded and challenges students through the use of Bloom’s higher-level questioning tactics. He encompasses attributes that would be a perfect fit within any school community, particularly his eagerness to augment the quality of his practices and implementing proven differentiated strategies. Due to his extroverted personality and innate leadership skills within the classroom, his students have been motivated to learn new concepts and competencies.
It is these reasons that I offer high recommendations for Frank without reservation. He possesses the characteristics of a life-long learner and his curiosity for new knowledge is second to none. What sets him apart from others is his genuine concern for all students whether they are in his class or not.
